About the owner

JJ Grobler was born in Pretoria in 1974 and obtained his National N3 Certificate at the Pretoria Technical College. He obtained his National Diploma in accounting at the Technikon Pretoria while finalizing his articles.

In 2003, he furthered his academic career and obtained the AIPSA Diploma in Insolvency law and practice at the University of Pretoria.

Mr Grobler is a Practicing member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) since September 1998 and a Non-Practicing Member of the Association of Insolvency Practitioners of Southern Africa (AIPSA). On 04 August 2008 he was allowed membership to the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT) at the level of General Tax Practitioner (SA).

In 2002 he also obtained the year program on fraud examination certificate at the University of Pretoria.

On 16 November 2010 he’s application to become a Certified Fraud Examiner at the highly acclaimed Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) with their head office in Austin Texas (USA) was approved by the board of regents.
He is now heading up the fraud investigation team of Hiepgro Fraud Examiners (PTY) LTD as a practicing forensic accountant.

His practice is also registered with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants as an Approved Training Centre certified to train and develop accountants in South Africa - reg nr:(ATC130).
